1. Pre-deal - identifying and selecting potential business partners, negotiating the deal and making the offer to the targeted company
2. Due Diligence - discovering significant liabilities and exposures, uncovering potential deal-breakers, confirming the value of the deal
3. Integration Planning - creating a master plan and schedule for building the new combined company focusing on structure, processes, people, culture and technology
4. Implementation - Executing the integration plan, measuring progress and maintaining momentum while maintaining business continuity
