Q: What is workplace violence?

A: Workplace violence can include any or all of the following: verbal threats, physical altercations, bullying, domestic violence, vandalism, arson, rape, sabotage, and/or the use of weapons.  It involves behavior on the part of the employee that demonstrates a loss of control and that poses a threat to the safety of co-workers, customers, and the public.
