2014 Daylight Saving Time Begins March 9

ClockDaylight Saving Time begins Sunday, March 9, 2014, at 2 a.m., when we set our clocks forward one hour to 3 a.m. Employees who normally work an eight-hour shift on Saturday night through Sunday morning therefore would only work seven hours on March 8-9 (e.g., from 10 p.m. Standard Time to 6 a.m. Daylight Saving Time). You may voluntarily pay for eight hours, but cannot offset the extra hour of pay in March against the extra hour worked when Standard Time begins again on Sunday, November 2, 2014.
