Making the Most of Talent and Rewards

buspep-meet-handshakeWhile reporting a 48 percent  increase in hiring activity, finding and keeping key talent remains a challenge for two-thirds of employers, the August 2014 Towers Watson  Global Talent Management and Rewards Study  reports.

The study results, from more than 1,600 participating organizations, suggest companies with compensation plans differentiated from competitors, customized to the organization, and well-communicated to employees were three times as likely to report their employees as “highly engaged.”

Only 52 percent of surveyed companies believe they do a good job of explaining their compensation programs—supported by the half of employees who say they are paid fairly compared with other people in similar positions in their organizations.
