Results from the 2015 Benchmark Compensation Survey are now available for the Arizona, Colorado, and Wyoming geographic areas. This survey collected base wages for 404 positions across 10 distinct job families.
The 2015 edition of the survey includes eight new Call Center and two new Retail positions. Base salaries were reported for positions in the following 10 job families: Executive/Administrative, General Support, Financial, Human Resources, Corporate Legal, Sales/Marketing/Editorial, Engineering, Scientific and Technical, Production/Production Control, Maintenance and Facilities, and Procurement/Material Handling.
In addition to the base salary, data were also collected for:
- Annual Incentive – Participants were asked to provide annual incentives for the past fiscal/calendar year. Data reported are average incentives paid and number of employees receiving an incentive.
- Target % Incentive – Participants were asked to provide targeted percentage figures for additional compensation, not earned income for the current year.
- Exemption Status – Participants were asked to identify their matched position as exempt or non-exempt.
The general information section reports data for 2015 projected pay increases, historical tracking of projected increases versus actual increases, average hiring rates, ratio of human resource employees to total employees, and HR service model.
