Results of the 2015 MSEC Member Satisfaction Index Survey

MSI Results.BlogThe tenth MSEC Member Satisfaction Index Survey was conducted in April 2015. Council members last evaluated our services in 1983, 1988, 1993, 1997, 2001, 2004, 2007, 2010, and 2013.

The participation rate in this year’s survey was good, enabling us to assess how members feel about Council services. Data were reported by industry type, geographic location, employment size, years of membership, and union status. This information will allow us to determine areas of special concern to ensure that our members receive superior service.

Overall Evaluation of MSEC

The 29 multiple-choice questions were scored on a 4.0 scale. “Overall, how would you rate MSEC as an organization?” received a very positive 3.6 with 66 percent of survey respondents rating MSEC as Excellent and 31 percent rating MSEC as Good. Comparatively, the 2010 rating was 3.7 with 68 percent rating MSEC as Excellent and 30 percent rating MSEC as Good.

Evaluation of Specific Services

Each of the specific services received very positive ratings, ranging from 3.30 to 3.54. For the most part, these results are equal to or slightly below the 2013 results.

Comments

We appreciate those of you who took the time to offer specific comments. Naturally, we are pleased with the many positive remarks offered. We intend to follow up in the areas where you told us we fell short of your expectations. The many constructive ideas for new or improved services will be tremendously helpful as we move the Council forward.

The two primary objectives of Mountain States Employers Council are to provide quality service to members and to exceed your expectations. We will continue to work hard to meet those objectives. We thank all who participated.
