Colorado Publishes Sample Pregnancy Accommodation Notice

Colorado’s Civil Rights Division of the Department of Regulatory Agencies has released its Notice for Employers to Use in Order to be in Compliance with HB 16-1438 (Pregnancy Accommodations).

Colorado’s pregnancy accommodation law, which took effect last week, requires employers to provide a reasonable accommodation for an employee, or an applicant for employment, for health conditions related to pregnancy or physical recovery from childbirth, absent an undue hardship.

Additional information on compliance is available through MSEC.
