In today’s world, human resources professionals and managers face an increasingly complex workplace. Complying with changing regulations, retaining employees in Colorado’s low unemployment environment, and keeping employees safe can be challenging. At the same time, there are many opportunities that can be created when the workplace environment is collaborative, inclusive, and engaging.
How can organizations help their leaders cope with new challenges while taking advantage of emerging opportunities? Our full-day conference will explore ideas and new ways of doing things, while providing strategies to meet difficult situations head-on.
Our two keynote speakers should not be missed. The first keynote speaker is Josh Davies. Training Magazine named Josh as one of the top 10 trainers under 40 in America and the Denver Business Journal tapped him as one of Denver’s 40 Under 40. His topic is “The Workforce of 2030.”
Mr. Davies will provide a look ahead to 2030, when there is expected to be another revolutionary wave that will going to change the future of work in America. Specifically, the combination of automation and artificial intelligence will create a new revolution in business. Don’t sit back and let the waves drag you down, choose instead to ride the coming revolution and come out on top!
The second keynote speaker, Dr. John Nicoletti, is a nationally recognized Police & Public Safety Psychologist. He will address what he refers to as the “pre-event threshold” and the “event threshold.” The pre-event threshold includes what you do to prevent an attack. The event threshold focuses on steps an organization should take when an individual is perceived to be a potential threat.
Participants will also be able to gather information from the conference’s three learning tracks: Compensation and Benefits, Human Resources, and Culture and Leadership. Each track will be presented by either an Employers Council or other industry expert. These concurrent sessions are designed to help increase human resources and management effectiveness in coping with challenges, while recognizing and taking advantage of opportunities to help ensure the organization’s success.
