As a staff member in Employers Council’s Organizational Development and Learning department, Eric Daly has been helping members realize their potential for 22 years. With more than 2,000 classes under his belt since 1997, Eric finds more joy in his work than ever.
“I try to do the things my parents were doing helping people,” Eric says. I’m a Denver native, and it’s a privilege and honor to serve the community in areas I’m passionate about.”
Eric holds a master’s degree from the University of Denver in International and Intercultural Communication and a bachelor’s in International Studies from the American University in Washington, D.C. He has been a trainer, consultant, and coach for 25 years, working for such diverse groups as the National Civilian Community Corps, Up with People, and the Business Council for International Understanding.
Eric trains in the areas of diversity, supervision, cross-cultural communication, conflict management, and more. He coaches business owners, executives, directors, managers, and supervisors one-on-one to enhance leadership and interpersonal communication skills. He also mediates conflicts and facilitates groups to increase workplace effectiveness.
“I really got into training to learn more about subject matter that interests me,” Eric says. “I’m right there with the students.”
With an attorney mom and a therapist dad, coaching came naturally to Eric. His long list of certifications includes: Certified Integral Coach with New Ventures West; Radical Collaboration Certification; Newfield Network’s Coaches Foundations Course; People House 9-month Facilitator Training; 4 Gateways Coaches Training; 40 hour Mediation Training; and several others.
In his free time, Eric leverages his knowledge as a Colorado native to find the best avenues for recreation, whether that’s an undiscovered hiking trail or a fabulous rooftop patio. Chasing his five-year-old daughter Leila keeps him young.
