Jaimie Graczyk joined the Scottsdale, Arizona office as an employment law attorney in December 2016. Prior to joining Employers Council, she worked in the legal department of a Fortune 500 automotive company in Detroit, Michigan, assisting the employment law team with employment matters, union avoidance, and HR support. While working there, Jaimie solidified her passion for practicing employment law and helping employers and employees work together to ensure a successful employment relationship. She also interned with the EEOC’s Phoenix District Office and a mid-sized labor and employment law firm during law school.
Jaimie is a Michigan native and received her B.A. from Michigan State University. She moved to Arizona in summer 2013 for law school and received her law degree from Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University in May 2016. Jamie is licensed to practice law in the state of Arizona.
Jaimie assists members with matters relating to the employer-employee relationship, including hiring and wrongful discharge, discrimination and harassment, wage and hour, leaves of absence, workplace investigations, drug and alcohol testing, employment agreements, and unemployment claims.
In her free time, you can find her spending time outdoors with her husband, one and a half-year-old daughter, and Alaskan Klee Kai dog (who resembles a mini Husky). She loves traveling back to Michigan with her family regularly to spend time with friends and family who still live there.
Updated Correction – May, 2020:
In this original blog post, we inadvertently said that Jaimie was licensed to practice law in both Arizona and California. She is only licensed in the state of Arizona. We want to make it clear that Jaimie never made this claim and we apologize for this unintentional mistake and any misunderstandings it might have contributed to.
