Breaking News: The Senate Passes the Families First Act, Sends it to President Trump for Signature

The Senate approved the Families First Coronavirus Response Act, or H.R. 6201 Wednesday March 18, 2020. The Act provides paid leave to American workers affected by COVID-19, as well as free testing for the virus. Additionally, the bill will provide tax credits for employers when workers receive paid leave relating to COVID-19. The bill is essentially the same as the one passed by the House over the weekend with minor technical changes, and President Trump is expected to sign the bill in short order.
