Update on States’ Executive Orders Monday, May 4, 2020


On April 27, 2020, Arizona Governor Ducey signed the Return Stronger — Amending the Stay Home, Stay Healthy, Stay Connected Order. The Order extends Arizona’s Stay Home, Stay Healthy, Stay Connected Order until May 15, while laying out a step-by-step approach re-opening Arizona’s economy.


Colorado is currently under the Safer at Home order that allows most businesses to re-open with strict hygiene and distancing protocols.  You can find City and County orders here.


On April 29, 2020, Utah Governor Herbert issued an Executive Order that formally places the state of Utah under “moderate risk” protocols for COVID-19 beginning on May 1. Detailed guidelines are provided in the updated Utah Leads Together Plan and apply to individuals and businesses.

In all states, counties and cities may have different Orders; be aware of your local requirements, as they may supersede the state orders.
